zips are a completely different team playing at the JAR arena. hollingsworth is playing out of his mind right now, and while the zips struggled some in early to mid-january- their offense has been outstanding the last few games. the fact that hollingsworth is on fire makes it even tougher to guard tarver. akron should cover the short number

the pepperdine/zags game has lost some of its luster since the waves are struggling this year- but this is still one of the premier mid-major rivalries, and even though the records (from the pepperdine perspective) might not indicate it, these are still the 2 best teams in the wcc. and this is a big time revenger for the waves. gonzaga destroyed pepperdine a month ago in a game that wasnt as close as the final indicated. pepperdine should re-establish themselves here tonight and get the outright win. cant really call it an upset win, because waves SHOULD be much better than they are right now. zags have been vulnerable on the road as well in conference- and this will be their stiffest test, and its one i see the waves winning.

ive seen the good days and the bad days of backing this boston college team. some days, they are a joke of a team (i.e home loss to providence)...other days, they look like world-beaters (saturdays win in uconn)...sju just always seems to give the eagles problems...they really dominated the series last year when both teams were basically idential to this year- and hatten had his way. no reason to think this gm wont go to the wire

Love the Johnnies pick, as you can see, I am on them as well. Johns 9 of last 10 su vs BC. Very good matchup for Johnnies in my opinion. I think they will keep this game close and have a good chance at the outright win.

I thought I might see you on PSU as well today. I really, really like this play. It almost made it as a double, but just decided to keep it as a single. Iowa just plain stinks right now. They are sporting a 6 man (and not the greatest 6 men) rotation. If PSU is ever going to win a big 10 game, here is the chance. I think they get it done tonight in front of the home crowd (you know, like a couple thousand people).

zags shooting out of their mind right now. part of that is due to pepperdines matador defense, but gotta give zags credit. having said that- the game is clearly being played at the waves tempo and ill take a shot on pepperdine essentially (+10) for the game. if waves have any sack, they can easily get back in the game. the faster the tempo the better for pepperdine
