hit kent and sdsu on monday. played these for tonight:
2 units.......tcu (+6.5) over south florida
2 units.......florida/kentucky under 145
frogs with a legitmate shot at the outright win. game should be very uptempo, and while tcu has been dismal at times- theyre in a spot tonight where they can win.
lots of reasons to like the under here. this has traditionally been an under series- mainly because the "perception" is that these two schools are high scoring. they are, but both coaches really have focused more on defense and physical play over the last few years (especially donovan). gators used to try to outscore you, but now they actually are sound on defense, and while they still like to run- they rarely get into out of control shooutouts like they used to when miller, harvey, and haslem were running the show. also- floridas young, and while theyve faced good road tests this year and passed them- i think rupp is going to be a very intimidating place for them- and the younger guys might be a little off their game early. kentucky should control the tempo at home and this one should be much more defense than expected
