MIAMI BEACH -- The Patriot Ledger of Quincy (Mass.) reports that officers arrested New England Patriots star Ty Law early Saturday morning in the South Beach section of Miami and charged him with failure to obey a police officer and resisting an officer, both misdemeanors.
Police say the 30-year-old Pro Bowl player was driving his 2004 Rolls Royce on the commercial strip when an officer flagged him down for a lane violation.
Officers say Law sped off, and when he pulled over again, he "became agitated" when they told him to put his hands behind his back.
Patriots spokesman Stacey James says the team will look into the arrest.
Law also had trouble in 2000 when he was caught at the Canadian border with Ecstasy.

Maybe if the Patriots paid this guy what he was worth he wouldn't be such a problem child. I am sick of underpaid athletes being made to obey the law like the rest of us. Doesn't the police know how vulnerable this man was after the Patriots humiliated him with their latest contract offer of about $30 million a year. God Bless you Ty and the others like you.
