the West Coast team, with the 80 degree temperature, plays first. I have no play on this game, but having Philly play at what equals a 12 a.m. start seems crazy.

Conversely fans at Pittsburgh get to stand in the snow wind and cold at night, instead of 1 o'clock.

NFL has the Pacific Time team play at noon, the Eastern team play at night. Is there ANY LOGICAL REASON, or just the NFL corporate whores at work again, thinking Pittsburgh/Baltimore is the highest rated game.

yeah

the conf trade off early-late start times every year now since the late game is in prime time

g- Your generally logical guy, this make any sense to you? When on earth has the Pacific Time started first? Seems to inconvenience fans both ways, but especially at Pittsburgh.

why is it inconvenient?

they cant kickoff at 6:30 est??

they kick off at 8:30 during the season and 8 pm in rounds 1-2 if they host the sat night game

just the way the nfl changed it, next year the nfc will have the late game and afc will have the early game no matter the locations

Set far in advance to keep the tv folks happy and that why they alternate.

The one I never un derstand is the NCAA regional finals when the West game is always the early game.

actually the one i never understood was the nfl conf title games

before making this change a few years ago they had kickoffs at 10am pst and 1:30 pst

what didnt they ever think that 2 west coast teams could BOTH host the afc and ncf title games?????

it almost happened in 94 with the niners + chargers

would have loved to see those morons at the nfl office make a decision on that one
