the coach had the OV tonight. They in FG range 4th and 7 and the coach called for the go ahead TD unbelievable...
definitely bullshit and a brutal way for the game to go over the number. only consolation, and its not much, is that the game coulda gone over much earlier had uab not stalled inside the 10 a few times.
Yeah, your right Gman. This game probably could've gone over in the first half. It just sucks to get this close with under 3 minutes to go and they throw a damn pass for a TD.

Had UAB grabbed an early lead instead of Memphis, this game wouldnt have gone over 50. Like I said in the 2nd post in this thread, that 75 yard run that set up Memphis' second td when it was 7-3 to make it 14-3 in the first quarter shot the under DEAD because UAB was a lock to come roaring back with their passing attack....night all

i dont necessarily agree that uab shouldnt be passing there. if its 4th and 7 and you run a dive play for 2 yards, youre turning the ball over with 1:30 left. not a whole lot of time, but uab has had some meltdowns this year and brown looked like he wanted to seal the deal.
as for joe pa, he's all class, but damn it if he didnt fu.ck me good last week when purdue was inside the number until joe pa jammed in a cheap touchdown with 1:00 to go.

Yeah, I guess it works both ways. I had Penn State last week and was ready to consider it a loss.

i can understand passing, for a first down, not a TD...he was goin for the jugular but i guess its not like they were winning 35-3, just seemed that way after watching the second half blowout...
