I am cranky I didnt pull the trigger on NW. More cranky that I pulled a Joe P and played the over which UCLA and NW's kicker obviously went the other way

But Drew Olsen is a better QB than Vince Young. I read that right here at MadJacks.

That is 3 picks against the worst defense in the nation.

So. Cal
oregon came to play, but lost

asu played as they always do....all offense, some defense in the 2half and won

cal had no receivers last year and got completely hosed on that bowl bid....their effort was poor

ucla playing with a lack of interest was completely obvious....hopefully they can show some interest so the over has a chance

pac-10 as a whole sucks.
but california could seriously challenge usc next year and be a top 5 or top 7 team all year long. bears are gonna be damn good. love the way they play.

asu will be good, but its near impossible to go from a defense that bad to a defense that is capable of being a top 10/15 team. cal is sort of in the middle of usc and the rest. not quite in usc's class, but well ahead of rest in the pac10 defensively (though oregon, for the most part, was respectable). cal's ability to run the ball is what makes them so tough. and theyre so young, which is scary. fu.ckin ayoob is a nightmare though. how was that clown so highly rated as a juco?

Arizona is the team to watch out for next year. USC opens the Pac 10 season @Arizona. UPSET SPECIAL! USC always struggles opening game of pac 10 and it seems it is always on the road. Stoops is doing outstanding job recruiting. He just got 2 5-star JC DT's. Awesome.

Arizona might be the team to end USC win streak! :scared

No surprise to see UCLA stinking it up. Lost last year vs Wyoming. UCLA bowl game was @USC. They even had 3 weeks to prepare for USC.

Yep that is why he finished the year with the #1 passer rating in the country.

Scott, maybe I'm crazy...

BUT last year about this time, weren't you the one saying that UCLA was going to be a powerhouse THIS SEASON???

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

So. Cal
arizona is my upset special......too bad it's 10 months away

:)

beat out sc on a dline louis holmes who is a STUD......carroll really wanted him, but im sure sc will survive.....arizona defense will be excellent and could be best in pac-10 next year (with cal and sc) and if offense improves with willie tuitama at qb they could be dangerous

IF I SAID THAT, I GUESS I WAS RIGHT! They exeded expectations and won more games than anyone predicted. BY A WIDE MARGIN! :) Guess I was right. Winning games is the most important thing and that is what UCLA did this season. WIN GAMES! I will be right with Arizona as well! Stoops doing an excellent job down there.

Winning games in the pac-10 means nothing. They beat an Oklahoma team that would probably beat them if they played tomorrow. I don't think that qualifies them as a powerhouse.

That's the reason the pac-10 gets invited to these weak, pre-new year's bowl games. So I guess some of these teams that think they're "too good" for these bowl games, need to start winning some of them, huh?
