Missouri +1 ( does this sound familiar, easy money) I am sorry UCLA backers, I watched both teams play and Missouri has all the advantages in this game. It's gonna be another woodshed beating. Agree or disagree this game is easy to call.

I also watched both games and don't know where
you come up with Missouri having the advantage.
Missouri played a tired Ohio St. team.
Ucla played a No.1 seed and beat them.
Ucla also seems like a different team come tournement time.

IF you actually payed close detailed attention.

IF you actually payed close detailed attention.

You would have realized that UCLA is selfish jumpshooting team, that doesn't box out or defend the perimeter. If Cinci had more then two legitimate scorers they would have won the game handily. Missouri will dominate the boards, Rush, Gilbert, and Paulding will eat up that soft perimeter defense that Cincinatti should have taken advantage of but Stokes was the only player that could hit an open shot. Much is being made of UCLA being the most dangerous 8 seed to ever play in the tounament. It's obvious to me that Cinci is far the worst 1 seed. They play thug ball and rely on two guys for the whole offense.

Missouri will dominate the boards, rain in the threes and UCLA will start throwing up their garbage and become impatient trying to get back into the game.

Interesting info both sides of the court. One thing for sure both teams are rolling right now. Stewy I believe you are correct about Cinn. There top two three guys had to come up big. There not as well rounded as some 1 seeds I have seen last few years. Missou did play a some what tired Oh St team. At least it looked that way. But Oh St all year one of it's srengths was it's depth. Didn't seem to help. Missou may be starting to play as they were expected to everygame this year. In any case maybe alittle closer game then one might think. But the edge looks to be Missou. GL

By your logic you are saying Missouri is better than Cincinnati. UCLA will out rebbound mizzou- you are forgettting that UCLA center Dan Gadzuriek is playing his best ball of his career. Jason Kapono is due to have a great game. Easy money on Mizzou? There is no easy money period and secondly, UCLA is more talented and wins this one

Be careful betting with your heart. Try to be more objective. Many of us have felt the pain of thinking OUR team is "gonna Whoop up" on the other guys. Even if the "other guys" just knocked out the #1 seed.

I feel that Cincy did attack UCLA's soft perimeter defense, but UCLA just beat them in a shootout, which I believe they will do in this one. UCLA's bench is MUCH stronger, and they will wear down MIZZOU, and roll to victory. Laying only a point for the better team, not to mention that the game is being played in California, is a deal that I can't, and WON'T turn down!

This may be a good one for you to just sit back and enjoy the game, so you won't be all pissed off at "your team" should they fall.

i think games like this come down to runs: missouri will go out in front, then ucla, and back in forth. so i am playing OVER. players are actually quite familiar with each other, 2 mizzou players (bryant and stokes) are local kids... teams match up well 1-4 but at 5 position bruins gadzuric could be the difference!

Arthur and Travon

Arthur and Travon

can neutralize Gadzuric. I agree this game will be exremeyly high scoring. Missouri always gets their points, its a question if UCLA gets theirs.

tough game

tough game

I believe that UCLA is the MOST unpredictable team in the entire tourney. If the UCLA team that beat Cinci comes out, then I think that Mizzou has no chance. However, don't get me wrong, I have a lot of respect for Mizzou, I just think that UCLA steps it up a notch in tourney games!

UCLA dominated the boards and held our 3 point shooters to only 10-22. They really put it on us. Like I said UCLA is a selfish jumpshoooting team that doesn't box out or defend the perimiter. Thanks for all the critisicm, even though I was actually on to something. TIGERS IN ELITE 8

stewy nice job i tell you what the tigers could be the sleeping gaint, they just run around like madmen look out of control but they arenot and that makes them hard to play against.

they are like a inner city play groung game when they get to run shots can be made from all over inside outside, then on deff you see a lane to pass go and make it and its stolen because they explode off the first step. team is hard to match up with when playing their game.

good luck this weekend.

Fletcher hit the nail on the head with Mizzou. They definitely have a street ball style with a lack of discipline that fortunately seems to be paying off at the right time.

How many brackets are screwed up after last night? Except for OU, the other three games so far have all been upsets. Who in the hell could have predicted Indiana and Kent State coming out of the South and Mizzou making it out of the West? Strange tourney so far ... bodes very well for a Texas upset! :)

I think TExas does well tonight.

I think TExas does well tonight.

Oregon will come in thinking they can run Texas out of the gym. All the Big 12 teams can run when they want to but like I have been saying defense and rebounding comes first. Anyway, Texas can run with about anyone when they need too.
