UConn -3 over Rutgers **** strong play
Huskies are the better team on both sides of the ball.Orlovsky has 18 tds and is a big time Qb.OL of Conn is solid.Brockington has over 1,000 yds and their ground attack has 12 td's.
Conn defense isn't to bad either esp vs the pass. They are 6-4 and Bowl eligible and would love to be 7-4.
Everyone is harping on Conn cannot win on the road. They are 0-3.But those losses were to BC,the Cuse and Ga Tech.BC and GT,no problem. But even Cuse in the Dome is understandable losing 42-30.
RU is devasted after last weeks loss to Navy.Navy kicked their ass's geting over 600 yds in total offense and all but 100 of them were on the ground.RU defense cannot stop the run.And there pass defense isn't much better.
Hart their Qb has ben in a funk.Another 2 ints last week. That's 7 in his last 130 attempts.RU has no running game.Leonard has almost disapperaed.Schiano has gone with an air attack.Against Navy they gained 30 yds on the ground.OL has been mistake prone.Hart will throw today 35-40 times. At least 2 or 3 of those will be to guys wearing Blue.
Conn has the big "mo" shutting out terrible Buffalo and Bowl scouts watching.Orluvsky is a draw.RU is beaten up,out of a bowl game and still thinking of their 1st game win over Mich St.But if you recall the following week New Hamp came to Jersey and beat them by 11.
Both defenses have given up a lot of pts. RU is last 4,54,21,35 and 41.Conn 0,30,42 and 31.
Think Orluvsky gets time to pass and brockington keeps RU's defense on the line.
Navy last week at the pregame had an incident with RU.Schaino didn't leave the field in time and delayed Navy from its pregame.Midshipman were going to march out an honor a Navy player that was killed the week before in Iraq.
PJ navy's coach was fuming an outraged at Schiano tatatics.Yest RU aplogized to Navy about the mixup and delay.
That is why Navy ran the score up and gained over 600 yds.
Hope Schaino does something today. But really don't think they need it.
Conn wins 45-27.It's a nice warm day here. Both teams will air it out.Maybe an over play might be worthwhile.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving.Hope our troops are safe today across the world.

Agree with you Box. Rutgers has gone in the tank and this one could get ugly.

Best of luck and enjoy the holiday.

I wish you were WRONG but, of course, wishes do not mean a whole lot. I hope the guys will show up today. Schiano has worked hard and has improved the program. If they lose, I hope they can at least keep it close as a blow out may really be very destructive to the recruiting inroads we have made in Jersey.

Best wishes on this wonderful day.

Rained all yesterday and a bit heavy last night. Right now it's just cloudy but the showers are supposed to roll in again. It's warm, about 62 degrees, but field conditions may be sloppy.

Looks like intermittent showers through out..I think this favors the over due to the lack of talent on both defenses. Sloppy weather only improves great defenses that can afford to lose a step in the mud and rely on strength and positioning. RU and UConn have neither in terms of Defense. Can't imagine these bums trying to arm tackle in the mud. Orlovsky should still be able to pick apart RU and the Scarlets have some favorable match-up as well. Leonard should ramble for 120 and Moses can get open at will. Turnovers are always the X factor and where they take place on the field.

I'm playing over 27 1st half...fairly large and will look again half time to see how much the weather is playing a factor.

Cha Ching...1st half over comes through..Rutgers not looking good but if they stick with this Shawell kid at QB maybe he provides a spark. Weather is very unpredictable in NJ..I just had to go fetch my garbage cans down the street, now the sun is out..

Damn.it looked ugly but a win is a win.Brockington scores 3 tds in 1st half and then he gets hurt and is out.But that really had no effect.Conn Rb's did pretty w/o him.
But when RU ran back the kickoff with under a minut or two ,then an on side kick ahhh
But Conn hung on.Both defenses were pretty bad. Conn won 41-35.
capman..that backup looked good.I think I might have left him in...

blackman,Bill,Intense and Noodle..have a happy

Taking West Vir * -3.Is there a prop bet on penalties that they will get.
I'll take 9 penalties for 120 yds.Hate playing them. But Pitt has no running game and they have a Qb that curses. lol
