man, what a great game. i don't think there's any doubt these are two of the top 10 teams in the country (no, i don't pay much attention to the rankings; often they are a joke). the great guard play of 'nova vs. the inside strength of uconn. of course, uconn has some talent on the perimeter as well. and playing the game at the wachovia center gives 'nova a less-than-total homecourt advantage. if i wasn't such a degenerate, i wouldn't even play this game; i'd just sit back and enjoy. obviously the line is pretty tight. but, of course, i am a degenerate, so play it i must.

'nova (+3.5) 1 unit. might be the first 1-unit play i've posted. really more a strong lean than anything else. obviously uconn is playing great ball at this point. they might even be peaking too soon. very tough to go against them with such a short line. but for me, it's just a matter of principle. a very strong team is getting points at home. two more factors:

1) college basketball is very much a guard-oriented game. 'nova has the better backcourt.

2) kinda reminds me of the nova/texas game. texas is very solid all-around and was at home, laying a few points to 'nova. the wildcats played them very tight, covering a short spread.
