They have a boatload of talent and Gordan and Okafor are both superstuds, but mark my words- the way this team shoots free-throws will end up killing them in one of the tournament games.

Yes, Elder is a great player. This Ga.Tech team is pretty damn solid. I toyed with taking UConn, glad I didn't.

4-17 on free throws at the break.

Just a matter of time......

Just a matter of time......

Jim Calhoun WILL have this team healthy and ready for March!

It has been a long time since I have seen a performance like that from CT ( they gave up at the end) double clutched and brought it all to the paint when they needed 3s to get back in it.......total disarray!!!!!!!!!!!!! Turnovers ........standing around, not going after rebounds ...loose balls etc.

Georgia Tech.....the opposite.....great game, great hustle, took it to CT and beat their ass!

CT is 0-3 ATS and as soon as they are healthy spreads shoul;d be low enough to start betting them.

I agree and I should have followed your advice and stayed with the UNDER alone but I couldn't resist. Maybe the lines will be properly adjusted now with the loss and we go back to making money with the Huskies. I'll be at every home game like I have for 16 years so I'll be wagering on em all too. Now the Nation sees UConn as a dinged up and weak freethrow shooting team and the lines will be adjusted accordingly and after tonight GT will be bet hard and UConn will be bet against at least in the short term. This might have been a blessing in disguise. What I liked least about tonight's game was Emeka limping when his play was off but looking 100% when he was on his game which was sporatic all night. He really used the injury as a crutch and if he was hurt that bad he should have been rested. I know what it's like having spinal injuries (2 fusions down and 2 more to go) and you can't play ball when your back is in spasm. The fearless leader showed little heart. He will rebound though...no pun intended.
