MMA Record (since UFC 58)
---------------------------------------------

Prop Bet 21-16
Fighter vs. Fighter 98-136
Parlays 48-66

+35.65 Joe Rogans

Patrick Cote beat Anderson Silva $6.25 *1 Joe Rogan

Josh Koscheck beat Thiago Alves $2.15 *3 Joe Rogans

Tyson Griffin beat Sean Sherk $2.75 *1.5 Joe Rogans

Ok.....how can ya not take a shot on Cote at massive odds. I mean he has big time punching power and a tough chin. Plus I think Anderson is getting bored with killing everybody. Add that to him talking about retiring, I think Silva may be looking past Cote, worth a shot at massive price.

I don't like Koscheck, but how can ya not take him as an underdog. I ws shocked when I saw the line, I can't believe he is the underdog:scared

And finally Sean Sherk fought the dumbest fight in the history of MMA against Penn. Yes that is correct nobody in the history of fighting (schoolyard fights, bar fights, etc. etc.) fought a dumber fight then Sherk. If Sherk had any brains he could have beat Penn. So with that being said I am going to go against the dumbest fighter in MMA. And getting Griffin at nice yummy odds is a bonus. I am not playing Griffin, I am going against Sherk. Why would you want to bet on an idiot:shrug:

Ginas and Rogans on the prowl.... i have all the same plays listed above. Hopefully not bad news for u, kick :mj07: I feel very confident in Koscheck/Griffin... just bonus that one is a puppy :00hour

Maybe the Ginas and Rogans will band together and make for a sweet event. I'm also looking to drop a nice play on Pete Sell.

Also, raw vs kegray has been added to the card. :SIB

Anderson Silva by flying knee in round 1. What a travesty that this guy has to fight Cote. Move him up to 205.

Koscheck by unanimous decision over The Steroid Brazilian

Not sure on the Sherk fight.. dont care for either fighter.

Considering Cote has said "Ive never been knocked out. Ive never even been rocked," i think it's pretty unlikely he goes down in round 1. I know Cote hasnt faced a fighter with half the talent of Silva, but for a guy with a great chin and good power who has been training w/ da GSP, ill keep my small piece of the puppy Cote at +650. ;)

Cote has only lost once that wasnt a decision loss. That was against Lutter via submission (rd 1). However, it just so happens two of Cote's losses came at the hands of Leben (split) and Lutter, two guys Silva has beaten easily.

Hope Mark Dellagrotte doesnt jinx Cote, though... he will be cornering Cote and he's 0-3 as a cornerman against Silva.

if we all were extremely savvy,we`d have opened the wallet on florian at around -170 and just let the rest roll on by....

i will be utterly flummoxed if stevenson beats florian.....

btw.... i like koscheck like everyone else.....but,this isn`t the same alves....looks like he`s put on around 15 pounds of pure muscle the last few bouts and he`s sporting some of the meanest knees this side of anderson silva....

dangerous fight for koscheck....

im going big on Florian.....

As for Koscheck, i had to let is pass cuz i didnt get the sweet odds kick did..... kick has an advantage over the rest of us b/c every book calls him before posting the lines. he doesnt always share that info w/ us :nono:

Read an article the other day where Koscheck said he wants to weigh 187 by the night of the fight to combat the hugeness of Alves... i was like :scared thats alot of weight to put on.

Later on it read that Alves plans on weighing around 197 come fight time. :scared :scared :scared

1st off.....Alves better not worry about what he weighs AFTER the weigh-in......he better concentrate on what he will weigh AT the weigh-in:SIB

And yeppers....since every sportsbook on the planet calls me first I do have an advantage.....:142smilie

And Kos better not agree to anything.....if Alves misses weight again I will be calling him Thiago Gina:mj07:

GW...I can cancel any wager anywhere.....sometimes even after the fight...yep I am that powerful:142smilie

If you ask me, Cote doesn't stand a chance. He's not fighting a guy who frequently makes mistakes. He also isn't facing a guy where if anyway possible, you could see him having an advantage.

The only question in this fight is how long will Cote last. If it went to the score cards, the fight could very well end up 30-24.

What dangerous striker has Cote faced yet?

PS- That sommme bitch sounds just like GSP when he talks.

And finally Sean Sherk fought the dumbest fight in the history of MMA against Penn. I don't think Sherk could've beat BJ Penn reguarless of how he managed the fight. However, the strategy he chose just lead to his devestation, that's all kurby

Make it 0-4!! :mj07: LOL

Also, Cote was submitted by Joe Doerksen as well by RNC. OUCH.

Anderson Silva is p4p the best fighter in the world for a reason.

As for this card, I'm hoping I can bounce back strong, but here are the fighters I like(non betting wise)....then betting wise!!

MAIN CARD (TELEVISED)
Anderson Silva-via KO/TKO vs. Patrick Cote

Thiago Alves-via Unanimous Decision vs. Josh Koscheck

Fabricio Werdum-via KO/TKO vs. Junior dos Santos

Tyson Griffin vs. Sean Sherk-via Split Decision(could be the boring fight of the night)-the UFC knows it, and put it on early for a reason.

Rich Clementi vs. Gray Maynard-via Split Decision(could be best fight of the night)

PRELIMINARY CARD (UN-TELEVISED)
Thales Leites-via Submission vs. Drew McFedries

Spencer Fisher vs. Shannon Gugerty-via Split Decision

Matt Horwich vs. Dan Miller-via Submission

Marcus Aurelio vs. Hermes Franca-via Unanimous Decision

Josh Burkman-via KO/TKO vs. Pete Sell
-----------

On the betting end, I like Burkman, Leites, Franca ,and Alves Id like to parlay Silva, Burkman, Alves, Leites, and Franca.

Cote at massive odds is the play. Yes Anderson is an incredible fighter, but after watching "All Access" (taped 1 month ago) I like Cote even more. I don't think Silva is taking this fight seriously. And I'm telling you Cote could just sneak up on Silva. Fighting is 95% mental and I don't see Silva focused. Cote has big time power and a strong chin. And when you train with the best fighter on the planet that can only help. Anderson better knock him out in 1st round, if he doesn't he may be in for a wake up call. I'm telling you, Silva is not taking this fight seriously. Cote at huge odds is the play:SIB

Never underestimate a guy with power, a iron chin and no pressure.

Anderson Silva is a world class fighter for a reason. Haven't you ever learned anything through the media? They lead you to believe what they think sells. The UFC has made it on building and hyping fights, even when they think a guy isn't as gifted. They will always build the opponent up for the forceeable rare instance that the underdog wins.

As far as taking the fight serious. He's taking it serious. Anderson Silva is a respectful fighter and takes the MMA serious. The boxing and retirement talk has been going on for over a year now. What happened to all those fighters in front of him?

Please, when breaking down the fight, tell me how you could see Cote winning? A lucky punch?

There's a difference between "the play" and donating money. You're just donating money.

Also, if you're making bets when breaking down a fight in the hopes of a lucky punch is landed, then I don't know what else to tell you.

If Anderson doesn't knock him out in the 1st round, he'll probably submit him in the 2nd.

No such thing as a "lucky punch".......hate that expression.....if you punch someone and they go down....that ain't lucky...that's what you wanted to happen. And your damn right if Cote wins it will be from a punch. There is a reason why he's a massive underdog.

Cote has a iron chin and big time power, always worth a shot betting a huge underdog with those two skills. Add to that he has nothing to lose and trains with GSP..Cote is the play here.
