We don't claim to have a powerhouse offense, but at least we can score touchdowns against SEC opponents, unlike some teams in this state.

We might not score that much, but we have won and that is all that matters. (of course that feat becomes a lot harder this Saturday).

Also, AU did kick the crap out of USC. They also did it when USC's 2nd string QB was making his 1st start of the year.

Finally, about UK. I did not watch the game but read about the 450 yards given up by AU. As far as I am concerned, AU won the game and most of that was given up once the game was in hand. Trying to point to the UK game as some sort of indication AU is in trouble, is a weak argument. AU is a very good team and I expect a 7 point game when they play UGA.

Bama 6895,

I can see a 7 point game but you're post would have had more credence if you bet me a bologna biscuit from Hardee's, a bucket of Popeye's chicken & a round of Purple Haze with your yorkee.

Auburn has a solid defense just like they always do...they among the most balanced teams in the SEC and have a chance to get in the top 10 with the next two games.....Just because one team put up some points on them it's absurd to imagine that now the mighty UGA offense will score at will, not to mention the banged up Bama offense in the iron bowl....As an Auburn fan I'm personally glad the D had a bad day in lexington as a wake up call and firmly believe that Auburn's good enough on both sides of the ball to win the game....they traditionally do quite well in Athens and I think the game is a coin flip...certainly this rival match-up is not a 'give-me' for anyone and if I bet i'll take the points or the odds on the AU moneyline as the bets with the most value

Guys I am an Alabama grad and am cheering for my team but now is not the time to make jabs at each other. Were all hear to win money and beat the bookie not each other. Simply put if you dont like a game then stay away. Its that simple. I look for the Auburn ground game to control the game and dictate how the game to be played. I think the SEC is in for a great weekend of football and would stay away from all the games because they are all to close to call. Good luck to all if playing them. But no game is a gimmie and if you think that then probably dont bet it because it will probably beat you.

Captain Kirk,

I was at the Kentucky/Auburn game myself, Auburn did get some calls, but so did Kentucky, do you remember the fumble at the end of the game, Auburn was in control of the game the whole time, they got lazy on defense and KY was able to score.

I think LSU is a better team the GA this year, DJ Shockley is a good quarterback but not great, he is like Quincy Carter. If not for 1-6 field goals by a crappy kicker, Auburn would have beaten LSU in Baton Rouge. So I don't think GA is by any means the "Gimmie of the Year".

Good luck, would like to see Auburn and Bama win this weekend so the Tigers can ruin the Tide's season in the Iron Bowl!!!

Isn't AU down to a 3rd stringer at LB after Sears arrested and suspended for DUI?

LB has always been huge position for Auburn and I think this could really hurt.

Won't touch this game with a stick.

No, Auburn is not down to 3rd stringer. They are back to the original starter actually with Antarrious Williams coming back from a neck injury.

All 3 original starters are back at LB for this game. (Williams,Williams, Dede) Sears was used heavily in a 4 man rotation at LB for AU though, so depth could become an issue late in the game.

Sears was also the only starting LB that weighs over 216 lbs. which may become a match-up problem for Auburn with Georgia TE Pope who is huge and very tough to bring down! 6'8" 260lbs.

Just wish I was still in College..........well not really! When I was at Auburn I was usually too drunk to party after a night game! Glad I gave that up...........and glad Auburn still knows how to beat Georgia in Georgia! that makes it 10 out of the last 12 AU has won in Athens!
