That was far from a cockstomp with a team that the Bulldogs should have manhandled.

Moreno played well and got his 100 but he had 0 break out runs over 15. The Bulldogs wouldn't have won without Moreno though.

Stafford is not comfortable throwing to his wide receivers. And they are not comfortable catching it. The pass rush for Georgia was pathetic, just horrible. I think they had one sack against a line that has given up alot of sacks in the last two games.

Granted alot of emotion in this game at home for the cocks, but Geez Louise, Georgia showed me very little of being a top ten team.

Bulldogs defense played well overall in their bend but not break , but could not stop the pass in the second half . The tall receivers for the Cocks were uncoverable by the Dogs secondary.:scared

Any top 20 team should be able to beat the Bulldogs. What a pathetic game to watch.

If I grade UGA for the game it goes like this.

Coaching = F

Using a linebacker to cover their 6'4 tightend did not work. He was uncoverable without pass interferance by UGA. The penalties were unacceptable.

Receivers = C-

AJ Green played well. Durham and Tripp Chandler have to catch the ball.

Offensive Line = D

They played stout but could not protect Staffords back and could not open up holes for the running backs.

QB = C

Made a nice long run to set up the score.
Missed some open throws downfield. Stafford does not seem to see the whole field and that is just not good at this level.

RB = B+
Horrible blocking all day. Why not play King ?

Secondary = D-

Got beat all day by a rookie QB and Smelly
Run defense was good, but way too many interferance and just not good pass coverage.

Defensive Line

C+ What a joke. No pressure on their QB or sacks. No pass rush. Little pressure. This is going to kill the Bulldogs.

Kickers

FG kicker is OK. The kickoffs are giving the other teams the short field. Find a leg or screwdog.

The other USC would have stomped this South Carolina team by 40 points. I think that tells us where the Bulldogs are at.

I doubt all this stuff can be corrected. Too many good teams to play coming up.
