I heard about this. I'm assuming most in the forum are pleased that Gov. Richardson is taking such measures. Situation sounds rather dire down there.

not to rant too much, but what is it again about bush that the conervatives like? ...i haven't experiienced a LESS truly conservative leader in my lifetime. ...only on pointless religious issues - everything else would make even the most irresposible liberals blush.

Saw the Gov on Oreilly last night--been on there numerous times--was interesting--Dems need more guys like this getting airtime.
Quite a stand up fellow and was surprised he made note that border prob was directly responsible from BOTH parties vieing for hispanic vote. Bet he pissed a lot of politicians off.
and from looks of this thread you'd think there was no border prob till Nov-2000
Will say am disappointed on GW being a puss like those that preceded him on issue.
Both parties get grade F.

be careful about burying bush before it`s all said and done....
not saying this as a bush fan...but as a history buff..
truman was trashed and history remembers him as one of the great presidents...

Restart the same military operation that was formerly on Vieques (Puerto Rico) along the border of New Mexico/Mexico.
