Yep. Pretty amazing. Unfortunately, every government agency has problems like this with accounting and waste. You just wouldn't think a bank would.

i have a couple of $5 from 1963 - they say United States Note instead of Federal Reserve Note. Printed in red ink instead of green.
I think this is when Kennedy tried to give the power to print money back to Congress and take it away from the FED.
Bankers control the world....it would not be surprising to me for his assassination to have been ordered by the Fed.

Trillions missing from the Fed, billions (if not more) missing from Iraq, God knows how much in foreign aid went straight into the bank accounts of ne-er-do-wells, etc. Billions is special projects from the defense and energy departments that never see the real light of day. Perhaps this would be an excellent place to start in trying to balance our budgets each year?
