it is currently minus 33 degrees with a windchill of minus 45 ...tonight it will drop to minus 42 with a windchill of minus 55 !!!!


so next time one of you say "damn it is cold outside"....just think of poor kickserv :mj16:

yes Dubai....is an option and best of luck if you make that move..

just can't phathom why people w/professional skills choose to stay in the friggin cold for a period of 4-6 months out of a year..

I don't really have an answer for ya....I came out here for a job, but have had enough with that job. Now I find myself living here and it is minus 1 million outside. And I hate the cold :mj07:

I have been here for 3.5 years and I can assure you I won't be here for another 3.5 :scared There are pluses to living here (friendly people, cheaper to live here then most other places in Canada) but when the winters are this bad, there really is nothing I can say except......get me outta here :scared

sadly.....two kids (age 3 and 1) froze to death last night............not good...not good.....and trust me it does not take long to die in this weather, in no time...you are dead.

Temp dropped 50 degrees in a 9 1/2 hour period here, from a warm 48 degrees yesterday down to minus 2 as the night moved on

Big temp drop here today too. Rain in the morning and now everything is frozen. High winds too.

Think I'll hit the hot tub!
