thanks for the info, pretty strange to have umps and lineups listed more than 5 hrs before gametime, anyone else think that's a little odd?? hell i doubt most of the team is even at the stadium yet--

Nick, that is a mistake. The pitch-by-pitch won't be up until about 10 minutes before the game and even if this crew worked the game Hirshbeck is not due up in the rotation.

this games starts at 7est?
yahoo has never listed umps more than 30mins before game time. let alone five hours!!
I did notice that cbs. sportline had the lineups listed an hour ago. also very unusually early.
It is John Hirschbeck listed at FL. His brother Mark also is an ump.

Within 2 minutes or so of this post, the total dropped at Canbet to 7.5. Is it possible they changed the gametime? They even had the weather listed for the game.
it is Mark's turn in the rotation but not John's.
Mark was at first in NY yesterday
John umped Saturday in Arizona
i doubt John would ump b2b Fla games either.
