cleveland state plus the points tonight. they had all kinds of looks at the basket late to cover the (+49.5) but had some jumpers rattle out. tough loss, but will get em tomorrow.

0-1 (-2.2 units for the night)

actually had a slight lean to oregon, but that kind of chalk isnt my style. im not sure if santa clara's bailey is playing. might want to check his status. he's one of their main 3-pt guys and 2nd leading scorer. also this is santa clara's 3rd game in 5 nights (pacific at home last saturday, eastern wash on the road monday night, and at oregon tonight). clara jacks a ton of 3s. when theyre dropping, theyre hard to blow out. but fatigue could play a role vs run-n-gun ducks. but then again, i had csu tonight so what the fu/ck do i know? :D

Well, I'll tell you what. I hope that basketball isn't as completely unpredictable as football this year. I think that I've "quit" about 4 times so far this fall, usually for about 2-3 days at a time. lol. Do you have a lean for tomorrow's bowl game. I can see reasons to take both sides. Not good. :D

fla:

miami obviously the public darling, but for good reason. theyre friggin good and nobody have come remotely close to stopping that offense for 2 months now. that being said, louisville is no pushover. good program with a good offense themselves. honestly, redhawks just seem to be on a mission this year. miami's defense is their weakness- regardless of what their YTD defensive numbers might show. you can move the ball on em. problem is, roethlisberger is seemingly working 7-on-7 drills with his offensive guys. as you can tell, im as stumped as you on that one. i might just wait for the tcu game to go against an offensive machine.:D

Talk about brutal...if you saw the end of the Duke game and had Princeton +13 in the 2H, you'll know what I mean. F college hoops...down double digits under a minute to go and fouling and fouling and then that ja*koff putting up an uncontested layup instead of running out the clock. March Madness can't get here soon enough.

:soapbox:

just some final numbers on kent/csu. im gonna try to find JUST the 1h stats for the game. not a stretch to say the 1h numbers might be even better than the final #s

kent 41-67 for the game (62%)
12 3-pointers (58% from 3-pt land)
22-24 from the line (92%)

:D
