So until you guys put on the stripes dont cry about calls and like at it from both sides instead of always from a fan or who you have money on that night.
While you do make a decent point, you can't argue that refs are perfect or impervious to pressure. When you see a late whistle while a coach is jawing in a ref's ear, what does that mean? Oh, he saw it anyways and was going to make the call anyways? Doubtful. There is also a distinct homecourt advtange with referees most of the time, in almost every conference. I see it in my midmajor conference on both sides of the ball (as in my team and their team) all the time.
<P/>And the whole 'until you guys...' argument is a very weak and faulty use of logic. One does not need to directly experience or participate to comprehend or understand something, save maybe a few experiences in life. While these posters are indeed exagerrating and it isn't as large a *problem* as it is made out to be: it does happen.
