sure was quiet here last night with tarhole fans. a revenge game at home against unranked va tech and ole roy and his team choke. hansmule missed potential winning fts and ole roy forgot and left his best player brandon wright on the bench at the end of the game. unc has more fgs, fts, rebounds and less turnovers but find a way to lose at home and maybe found a way to be a number 2 seed in big dance. on another note i am on all home teams tonight. nc state plus 3 , wake plus 5.5 and yes bc -2. duke may regroup but not tonight. bc can make huge step towards regular season by winning tonight and will have cushion going into sat game with the heels.

UNC had the game and Roy went zone for a few possesions. VaTech hit back to back 3's and took lead.
Roy hates zone and Hokies couldn't hit a barn for most of the game. Off reb's kept them in it, and its even harder to rebound playing zone...
Not going to make a big deal out of it, but it sucked that VaTech, down 1 with 36 sec's gets fouled and the guy gets hurt. What a coincidence, he's a 44% FT shooter.
Still, Heels had chance at end of regulation. Wish they would have called a timeout with 6 sec's left and set up a play, down 1 in OT. This was about 70 feet away from basket.
Nice D by Hokies most of the night and great D on last play. We needed some Duke time to make that last 3-ball count. Sadly, UNC games are only 40 minutes long.
Carolina couldn't hit 3's. Should rebound and have a chance to keep 1-seed, but not a lock....

I like State to shoot really well tonite. MD may have slight letdown after duke win and ncsu at home. Wolfpack a weird team as always.

A lot of block/charge calls all going in Duke's favor. Couple questionable phantom fouls as well. Duke easily the better team tonight, but a few calls hurting my 2nd half BC....

please do not start with the ref conspiracy again. bc shoots 28 fts to 10 for duke. at least 3 times bc should have had technical called with bumping ref and disputing calls.
