Over 1H 69.5
Duke's 1st halves have hit over this number in 9 of their last 13 games. The games that didn't: At Vtech the played poorly, temple, gt who is anemic, and at virginia who always plays low scoring games.
Last ten halftime totals of UNC/Duke games:
72, 79, 55, 77, 96, 73, 81, 67, 73, 75
That's 8-2 against a spread of 69.5
This is a rivalry game obviously and historically in this matchup the game is fast paced. The players come out excited and I'd be surprised to have it be a grind out game. Usually defense goes when the adrenaline is pumping.
One factor against the over is that duke let it get open in Cameron and Carolina really got out fast on them, so K may want them to slow it down. BUT, again, in this rivalry, the emotions are there and the pace is usually fast.
Really surprised by a number in the 60s...this total should be at 73 +/- 1 so there is value in the over.
