UNC versus Villanova

Please comment on my picks I am going to make.

I could be wrong or sometimes you have to remember that these are 18 to 21 yr old kids playing. I don't post much because it seems to bring me bad luck, but I have been following for years.

I believe that this N carolina vs. Villanova game will be like all the others in this tournament. Carolina has an NBA front line and just kill teams from the inside. They have taken Syracuse, Notre Dame and others best shot. Unless they completely choke they just have too much talent for Villanova. Nova will have to shoot 60% again and make 90% of their free throws to have a chance.

Their opponents are taking contested shots from McDonald All Americas and they are shooting layups and tip ins. They just wear teams out and don't have prolonged drought because they kill you with offensive rebounds. Shooting Guard Paige was the point guard,so you have 2 good ball handlers to break the press or they just throw it over the top.

Nova has a nice team and shoot extremely well but they are not deep. I think Carolina is too big, and shooting layups beats shooting 3's all day.

North Carolina will win big by 10 points +. This line should be at least minus 5 or 6.

Game should go over 151 - $500 over. North Carolina has scored at least 149 in all tournament games. This bet is not nearly as strong as Side bet. Carolina forces you to play fast cause they are ahead and they try to run on every possession until last 4 minutes.

I agree 100% with the game line. I believe the reason the line opened a bit lower than expected was a way of keeping a middle opportunity for Tarheel backers at a complete minimum while at the same time giving some of the sharps a mindfuck. They know its another DD win coming. Keep it simple, take the nba bigs over the hot hand. Carolina rolls.

fwiw I took nc at the sweet 16 at +425, 381/1619, so lets get it!

as for the total, I lean under as I think it has a good chance of getting out of hand if nova's 3s aren't dropping.

NC rolls? based on what? who did they beat this tourney? Miami, Kansas, and OU were better than anybody NC beat. And Nova rolled Miami and OU. Nova defends like crazy and is on fire right now. Nova ml and under.

i guess eye ball test, when I watch this team play in my opinion they are the faves and should get the win more times than not if they played a series. And when i say rolls i don't mean like nova can't compete, I just feel like nc will get a 8+ win someway somehow...i see it being close for a half and then the 2nd half nc pulls away.. anyways, like the under with you, good luck Z

if you told me north carolina shot 64% from 3 and out rebounded nova 36-23, i would have thought for sure they rolled em up lol crazy shit.. fun game, expensive but fun
