UNC vs Duke, your thoughts please???!!!

I have Duke tonight, they have more experience in the backcourt and front line and better overall shooters and better coach hands down. There is no look ahead spot, this is a makeup game from last weeks snow storm.

Keys tonight, Andre Dawkins and Rodney Hood, UNC can not match up to the lefty shooting Hood and Dawkins with open treys will burn UNC.

UNC at the throw line is hands down the worst in the ACC!! Line was put exactly where it should have been around 1 to 2 pts for Duke so that money will come in on both sides about 50/50, right nows it's slightly leaning 75% on Duke!!

So why are those of you who are backing UNC, backing UNC? Is it just a hunch pick? Or what?

I have followed about 130-140 Duke games in past 52 years.
I think Duke is a better team but I think UNC can win tonight with just a B plus game.
Until Duke gets Quinn Cook back on the same page w other players I would not play Duke for large wager
Cook and Dawkins can get 25 Pts between them tonight or they can get 5-6 points.
I expect as a senior Dawkins will shoot 7-9 three pt shots. Thornton for Duke will try to shut down Paige but he could get 3 fouls in first 5 minutes. That is most important matchup because UNC needs Paige to get the ball inside to the bigs. Duke will shoot 28or more 3's. If they make 12 or more I say they win.
I have 7 pt teaser w UNC, over and Michigan State.
I like over in Duke game as best straight play.
Going to be a great game.
79-77 either way.

If I had to play a first half side I would take the Coach K to have his guys ready.
UNC often start slowly.
Tired legs should hit Duke in second half.
Just hope refs let them play. Hate to see 60 free throws unless they are 30 each.

Coach K had starters in with less than 2 minutes to go up by 20 vs Ga Tech.
He will put it all on the line tonight.

I hear ya', but even if they lose against NC and win against Syracuse that could have them in the path to a #1 seed. I actually don't like a side, last week I loved Duke, watched some NC games and they are playing a lot better than what I thought they were.

It's a coin flip really. Or probably Duke wins this game 6-7x of 10.

Story of the game: whomever wins this battle wins the game:

Duke is the best 3 point shooting team in the conference, Carolina has the best 3 point perimeter defense in the conference.

Too much value in Duke on the ML for me to lay off but this one goes either way. I think if you are playing it, it's an action play, no angle either way.

Taking UNC -1 and over 78.5 at the half. Think this game will go down to the wire. UNC. has no answer for Hood if he can stay out of foul trouble.

Free throws from both sides and refs letting them play, I had a front row seat behind the press table, you could hear the contact even through the crowd noise, but at least the refs were consistent. The play from both sides was like all the players put a carrott up their tails!!

Congrats to UNC!!

Will be interesting on Saturday when Syracuse comes to Duke and Wake plays UNC.
