at home over va tech. VT doesn't have a shut down defense. it's shown in both their road games this year. they have yet to pull away from anyone of quality (they did v. GW and UNCG, but they both shot <30%.) they did hang w/ butler up in alaska but couldn't close at penn state or at old dominion. wake got stomped at georgia but came back nicely to stomp south florida who had won 7 in a row. wake's lookin to get back at va tech for knocking them off last december and in the acc tourney. how does wake win today? they score more points than the hokies.

cincy's been playing well lately, lost by 5 to xavier, by 10 to memphis. i think we'd all agree memphis is better than NC state. cincy's turned the corner this year and are playing good ball. NC state just played a very difficult game against Davidson in front of an excited, packed RBC center. i don't think it'll be as full today, especially not being an in-state matchup. cincy will hang around in this game and is capable of winning it if they can get NC state in foul trouble and get to the line--which davidson DID NOT DO AT ALL.
this line's dropping in vegas. down to 11. get on the bearcats before your book gets it into single digits.
