Marlins/Metropolitans-Like the young Fish too keep playing hard as this season winds down. Metropolitans have not won back-to-back games since last month & as a team are hitting only .169 in their last 10 games averaging just under 2 runs per game in that span. Indians/White Sox-The Pale Hose have "Packed It In" for the year & are probably playing the worst baseball in the Majors right now. Chris Sale is the ONLY reason they are -120 & he has struggled against the Tribe this year(0-3) especially in his last outing. He faced Cleveland back on 8/1/2013 & allowed 5 earned runs on 10 hits in only 5 innings of work. Tribe still has something too play for & will beat the Pale Hose again this afternoon. :0074
Athletics/Rangers-The "Fading" Texas Rangers, losers of 5 in a row & 11 of their last 14 games, face Jarrod Parker & the Oakland Athletics this afternoon w/whom they have had very little success with over the years. Oakland & Parker are both 6-1 in his career starts against Texas & Jarrod has won in all 3 of his starts verses the Rangers this season. Martin Perez was roughed-up in his last outing allowing 4 runs on 9 hits against the Pirates. He did however best the Athletics a couple of weeks ago allowing just 1 run although he did give up 8 hits. I think Oakland will get their hits again today, averaging .320 as a team in their last 10 games, but this time they will score some runs. Break out the "Brooms" as Oakland "Sweeps" Texas today all but locking-up the AL West. :0074
