One thing I have noticed lately is how a lot of games both team score very hight in the first half. This may have to do with more energy on offence and lack of defence in the beginning.
But usually the high % shooting disappears and games are going under in the second half .. different reasons ..
1. if game is a blowout then starters are pulled out and reserves dont score as fast as starters .. usually ..
2. defence picks up
3. cannot maintain shooting % high for 48 minutes. If teams not shooting well in first half they dont shoot well in second half .. but if they shoot lights out in first half then they fade in second half ..
If i am not mistaken all the games today went UNDER for Second half plays ..
Is this a trend that can be exploited ????
Comments please
Cheers !!!
