Follow the team pretty closely. I know this team is better than last years team and they have shown me that this year. They even hung tough with USC in the first few weeks of the season.

Having said all of that - I think Texas will win this game by at least 2 TDs. I don't think Nebraska is an upper Echelon team compared to the likes of some of the big guns in the NCAAF right now (i.e. Texas, USC, Ohio State, etc.). At the end of the day it won't matter much where the game is played because I'm betting on Texas and not my alma matter team because I LIKE$$$$

Husker alum here too and I agree 100% with kneifl. I hope I am wrong but I think Texas is still too good for us. With that being said, all my buddies here in Lincoln are betting Texas so that may be a sign that the Huskers will pull an upset.

UGGH! The worst case scenario, Nebraska loses but Texas still doesn't cover, at least we looked good and may be an indication that we are on our way back!

Yep, that was a tough loss to take - both for my pocketbook and for me being a husker fan.

as another alum. i was impressed with the effort and the overall progress, but callaghan was brought in to upgrade the talent level, and they still have quite a ways to go. steve p. wants to play for national championships, and athletically and speed wise we are still not top 10. i guess i dont know whether to be encouraged or discouraged--we are reall not winning any games that we wouldnt have under solich.
