QUOTE OF THE DAY

"I made the decision last year to move (Isaako Aaitui) to end so the game would slow down for him. It was easy for me to line him up on the tight end and say, 'You just go kick his butt' and then let the game come to him. ... He got more comfortable, made more plays. So now I knew he was ready for me to move him back to his natural position."
-- Andre Patterson, defensive line coach

After earning a scholarship, sophomore tight end Austin Harrington showed he wasn't going to rest off his accomplishment. He caught two touchdowns in a goal-line scrimmage Wednesday morning. QUOTE OF THE DAY

"I'm not unhappy because I know what the problem was. We put the goal-line defense in this morning in a meeting. They had never taken a snap in it. We had some guys in positions they had never been in. We'll get them coached up."
-- Dennis Therrell, defensive coordinator, on a goal-line scrimmage that didn't go the defense's way.
