UMass fucking sucks. I read above that they returned QB and experienced line and read elsewhere their defense was poor, so pulled the trigger on the over without much research.

Alas, the UMass QB is a freshman and fucking sucks. They've tried about 20 bubble screens and look completely inept on offense.

I'd stay far far away from this team as long as this kid is under center.

And I will never jump the gun on making a play again. Glad that mistake is out of the way in week 1.

kcwolf used to have a saying for college b-ball and I think it applies for football just as well, never bet a team based solely on what they did in their last game.

Syracuse threw the ball 65 times last week....USC was over 100 in pass D last year...have they really improved that much?

Syracuse over 16.5 team total looks extremely good to me.

Syracuse wants to play as fast as possible...59 doesnt seem very high of a total either. Especially when you have Lane Kiffin who is a dick and just goes for 2 regardless if he's up 30 points or not.

USC will try to impress the East Coast media and earn brownie points in hopes of overtaking Alabama.:0008

Dykes will have Cal faster but it may take a seasons or two to fully develop.

PAC 12 should have some absolute track meets this year. And the years to come.

Nebraska isn't changing their offense, but that is where they return all their talent and it will be the third year of OC Tim Beck's installation running a higher paced style. That should mean full familiarity with skill players like Martinez, Bell and Abdullah fully entrenched in that style now. Add to that the Nebraska D will be a bigger liability than they were last year, and their should be some track meets for Husker games.
