AF -10.5 over UNLV *****
AF knows they really don't have much of a chance to go bowling. There 4-6 record even if they win there last 2 is a big strecth. But UNLV is 1-11 and have lost 15 str. to D-1 teams. They played tough vs wyoming last week.I like the "flyboys because deberry has opened up his passing game. Most teams have put 7 or 8 guys in the box to stop the option. In AF's last 2 games carney has thrown 423 yds, almost half of his seasons stats. He's 30-39 mixing it up in last two games. In there home loss to Utah 17-14 ,AF rushed for 116 and passed for 218.They still rank no 3 in rushing.AF does have one of the worst pass defenses in the country. But so does UNLV.Think UNLV defense will have a hard time stopping AF, thru the air and the ground.UNLV def coord is a former coach at AF but even that won't help.In last 4 yrs in this series the scores were 42-7,27-10,24-7 and 49-32. Thats 146-56 total.AF has dominated.Time of possession will be all AF.AF ranks tops in the country in that.UNLV Qb Hinds will score but won't have the ball enough. Also Bell UNLV's top linebacker is out tonite.Lyr Carney has 4 rushing Td's vs UNLV and AF defense held UNLV to 2 rushing yds.AF has UNLV's number.DeBerry has had 2 losing seasons in a row.He is 4-6 so needs this game to have a shot at .500.Even though they have TCU next week.Carney's theme will be "up,up and away" as he's throws a few tonite.
Will post a few tomr..and explain them
