vancouver over detroit....i know the wings have been going through the motions ...resting players etc....but the canucks are playing great hockey right now with a lot of momentum coming into the playoffs...i dont care how talented a team the wings are it is tough to "turn it on" in the playoffs....the price is right to give the canucks a shot....cooz

I fully agree with you. The Canucks have been playing some of the best hockey the last two months IMO & at this price, they were worth a large wager to me. As you said the Red Wings were going through the motions but I havn't been impressed with their play in over a month & I laugh if they think they'll just flip that switch & their super power will come back. I might give some credit to their skill players but Hasek's mind is clearly not on stopping the puck the way it should be. His focus is what always got him to the dance & it is not there now.

My advice to you guys is to wait one game before making your futures bets on this series. Playoff hockey is a completely different animal. If Detroit wins game 1, you will get an even better price on Vancouver for your series bet. If Vancouver wins, I would expect that you will still get a very nice price on the series.
I just think it makes sense to watch that first game and make sure the level of play for both teams is where you think it will be before making any wagers based on the way teams played down the stretch of the regular season.

Yes, you can still place series wagers after the 1st game. Actually you can make them after every game.
Nick I do agree with your advice but in my case I always make more series wagers after the games have started anyhow. When it comes to playoff hockey, I will spend any amount to make a nice score
