One day before Father's Day and my 2 boys and I are hopping up and down cheering Tiger on!

Doesn't get much better than this.

Please someone else besides Woods win this Open. I get sick of all the announcers falling all over themselves about Woods. At times you would think he's the only one playing.

Now, we'll be able to hear about the knee for two months...............

Yeah, I can see where this is going if he loses today. The inevitable excuses will come from the pundits (i'm sure it won't be Tiger, but that's all we'll hear about from the media), I want them to credit the same knee for his 30 on friday and his ridiculous 3 shots on the back 9 yesterday.

That's all I ask.

looks like Tiger is playing it up too with all the expressions of pain

is he faking?

would the doc release him to play if it wasn't 100%?

will he finish today?

if he doesn't finish today we'll hear about THAT for the rest of his career :mj07:

I do not think he is faking. I think the pain is real, he is just acting like a drama queen. If he loses he will not make excuses. In fact he was interviewed yesterday after the round and he said it is only pain.

I doubt he's faking. I'm not a fanboy by any means, but media bias and all, I think he's got heart. He'll go as long as he can.

He's the best putter in the world...probably in history (at least in pressure situations) and that's what makes him better than anyone else. His short game is also the best and it's less stress on his knees. His knee will bother him with the driver and long irons most because he doesn't know the meaning of easing up on a shot.

I hope he wins because I just bought 20 shares at +244 at wsex.....and we can't have an englishman win can we....or a swede.....

I dunno, man, I don't think he's faking it.

Just like I didn't think he was faking yesterday or friday when he did what he did with all the grimaces as well.

Good point about the doc. If it was THAT bad, the doc wouldn't let him risk his career over this, I wouldn't think.

I'll bet he finishes and he'll probably win the damn thing.

For the golf guys:

I just saw where (I think) Luke Donald withdrew at +6 after 14 because of his wrist.

How do they decide where he finishes?

On the course!
Of course he won't "make excuses", but, in a way, don't you think every exagerated facial tic and the propensity for them to get worse if his round does, might just equate to "excuses"?

I know they do in my book.
