other than Michelle Wie have never seen anyone throw such a hissy--if it hurts that bad don't play--most of the Tiger quotes above have came after comments by his peers--who should know
Now, press would have us believe he played on broken leg to boot--you can believe what you want--but would be naive to believe a person can play competatively in open setup--with as much pain as some would like you to believe he was in (including Tiger)--
How in the world could his 'peers' know better than his doctor, who advised him not to play?
As far as the press? Are you saying they are making up the story of two tibia stress fractures(broken leg) out of thin air?
Or are you saying that Tiger and/or Tigers doctors are flat out lying?
Does the fact that he's out for the year, with two majors and his own tourney left to play, mean anything at all?
Or is him shutting it down for the year yet another ruse?

I will say his ailments were not fabricated any where near extent of Wies who withdraws and goes directly to driving range--my 1st thoughts prior and during tourney was Tiger took injuries seriously as he skipped his normal routine of hitting balls on range before or after rd--so concluded there was definte pain and caution--just not to the extent it was hyped as it would have been impossible to compete at level he did --if at all.
So i'll guess you'll concede that he played on a recently surgically rehabbed knee, a torn ac ligament(nothing to do with the knee and not repaired-was injured last year) and a double tibia stress fracture?
