France, Japan, Singapore are the top three.

We're 37th in longevity.

The counties which beat us? Universal health care, all of them.

But, hey, we could privatize Medicare and drop to 90th.

It's disappointing.

I wonder how many infant deaths may not have even survived to be born in other countries, though - a statistic that can never BE known but should be considered.....they count as a death in the US but would be a miscarriage in other parts of the world. Just something to think about.

Not gonna' happen, however I'd like to see everyone get decent health care.. Just think, nutz, if your Mama had received decent health care, maybe you wouldn't be retarded.

On the other hand, if she'd been taught about birth control............
