If running with a "decent tailwind" and the record was broken, it wouldn't only not mean much, it wouldn't count at all or would be asterisked 'wind aided'. It's a huge, huge feat for the 200; a record many people thought would stand for the ages even with perfect conditions.

Before the Olympics, he had been drug tested 11 times in 2008. I'm sure that's continuing.

It's extremely odd to have such a tall sprinter. He's also still learning, and the 100 is a relatively new event for him.
