Yes, but VT was quite overrated.

As talented as LSU is, they will lose at least oner just because they have Forrest Gump coaching.

I hate to say it but it will be USC-OU. Not that OU is necessarily all that great, but nobody on the schedule is going to beat them unless something very very odd happens.

Stoops has a poor track record in big games. GL

Just my .02 worth. It is a horse race between
USC, OU, and LSU. Who can go undefeated
the rest of the year. OU and LSU have to play
conference championships, that is unfair. But
it is what it is. I will say this, I have never seen
OU play with a chip on their shoulders. Never.
I've followed that program for decades. Never
have I seen them with emotion. This is the first
year I have seen them pissed off. They are pissed
off. The Oregon game topped with the Boise ST
trick play fiasco, they are pissed. LSU blew me
away with their first two games. USC is #1 but if PC doesn't get control of these ME ME athlete's,
they will repeat last years meltdown. Of course
Wisky or Penn St could be in the picture, but
these 3 teams are it. We shall see. :SIB

By the way, PC will get their attention this week.
Remember last year when every coach and player
ran on the field of the Coliseum waving a white
flag, (HUSKERS), and they played not to lose by
50. USC will CRUSH NEB. Once in your head, always
in your head. We'll see.

The QB for Oklahoma was most impressive. I either had them way underrated or Miami way overrated. As I mentioned earlier, LSU may be better than last year. And then there's USC, what else can you say...even tho the Pac 10 doesn't play a championship game it will be tough for any member to get through league play without a loss. Same with the SEC, although I think LSU has the best shot. Strangely enough, I think their toughest games may be against South Carolina and Kentucky. And what is it with Michigan, or the Big Ten...is it just a lack of speed or what? I can only sense one thing...this is going to be one hell of a year in college football. Just give me Cincinnati, South Florida, or App St :scared :00hour

Flynn managed the VT game well for LSU, but he lacked zip on several throws. Apparently, he twisted his right knee in the 1H and was unable to plant. I bet he plays no more than 1 series in the 2H next week, unless the game is somehow close. BTW, I think MTSU is a good bet for next week.

I think USC will get tripped up. In fact, I think it happens this week in Lincoln.

If it happens this week, then they will have time to climb back into the title chase down the road. Especially because LSU will likely lose 1, if not 2 imo.

You may just be right about Middle Cie...if the Tigers are somewhat disinterested...because I think they can cover just about anytime if their interested in the game enough.

btw...can you or someone else fill me in on how Middle put up 42 points on Louisville...have me thinking my Cats may have a chance this weekend?...Did their defense fall 'that far' from the last few years or is Middle's offense pretty darn good?

At first glance, I would think Woodson & co have a nice shot. Revenge is very a very powerful force in college fb.

I watched that game, and Louisville's D was at half speed, almost as if they knew their big machine offense could cover their mistakes. Not to take much away from MTSU, because they played a helluva game and kept it dangerously close, but I don't think they'll be able to do that to LSU. Too many athletes, too fast, too fast, and LSU is just too damn fast.

So Cal
I truly believe USC Def. is just as fast as LSU Def.
Offensively USC has a slight edge.
If the Trojans win @ lincoln it would be IMO alot more impressive then beating VT in Tiger stadium at night. I'm not a big LSU fan but I can't really remember them losing a night game @ Tiger Stadium. To me it looked like the whole entire stadium was for the LSU Tigers , as it should be .

The surprise to me is OU. They look like badass'
