I kinda wish SC won heir second NC now because then it would be 6 months of Home4SC posting in everyones forums how great He is and how great SC is.
Now we get to listen to Luckiest game ever played. 2inches this. USC any other day. IF they play again i would be right.
what makes anyone think that SC is going to be any good next year? I agree they will probably make it back to a bowl but cmon Carrol is not a magician.
Reason why SUC will make it back to bowl?
- Leinhart wasnt that great, he just threw laterals and threw to wide open recievers most of the time. I think they're new qb can do that too.
-They had a bad defense this year, but with time and experience those fresh/sophs will mature and become much better so that they might have an average to good defense (#74 in passing isnt a good defense, especially in a conference where Carrol knows they are going to be passing alot)
-IF White comes back they will have a consistent running game
Reasons Why they wont be in bowl game
- Though they normally skate on by in the Pac teams are getting much better in that conference. Arizona for one will be tough. ASU will be contending for Pac10 title with the conferences most potent offense. Cal, has two 1000 yd rushers returning and a solid D, will also be contending for Pac10 title. Oregon #6 (lol) will only be getting better, not that that makes them any good anyways.
-They lost most o their offense if you take the rushing yds of bush and the passing of Lienhart you will come up with a small #. No way around that.
-IF white doesnt come back they have a depleted backfield and will a new qb, even though Pac10 doesnt have any Defense, they will still blitz every time and that qb will be out by midseason
