You gotta love the guy, he knows the spreds backward and forward and got busted drinking a can of beer on the way home from a Nebraska game. Brent is my idol.

Being an Illinois Alum it hurts me betting against my team but watching Juice Williams throw all yr is reason enough.

I think in my post about taking the Illini and the Under, I had forgotten Ron Zook was Illinois coach. Why pass....keep running with the Juice, fer gawds sake. A pass is a bad play.

Brutal start for my bets on this one. Yikes!!

Couldn't have asked for a better start if you're an SC backer. I realize they're about as popular as chlamydia on this board, but I still think you can make a strong case for them being the best team in the country.

I wish Georgia got a shot at them. Would be a much better game.

Too bad the old crusty Rose Bowl committee wanted to stick to old ways & take an inferior Illini team over the Dawgs.

Completely agree. Georgia and SC would be a GREAT game. Very impressed with GA this year.

Yep, that would have been a blast......living here in big 10 country, you'd be surprised by how many people think the RB was contractually obligated to take the big 10....the truth is, like you implied, it was their choice to maintain "tradition" rather than give us a heavy weight fight.

Fans suffer.

Take this board, for example, where at the drop off a hat a SEC vs USC flame war breaks out. Sure would have liked to have at least seen a game to prove the merits of either side.....otherwise, its an argument with only mythical answers.

:scared Honestly I wasn't. And Illinois may very well come back and win this game for all I know, I just think SC has kind of fallen off of people's radar. I'm a Pac-10 guy so I watch them play pretty much every week. When they decide to show up and play focused football, they're ridiculously good.
