Just a heads up and also seeking info on the field
at the coliseum. Raining all day and probably
ending late tonight / early morning with only 10
percent chance tomorrow but chance of wind
15 to 25 out of the west. Do they cover the
field, does it drain well, how will any westerly
winds affect play?

Not supposed to rain tomorrow according to the forecasts. From my memory, the field drains well & holds up well. I've seen many games there after and during big rains and dont remember ever seeing the field torn up or muddy. That said, I like the under.

fj, can't play an under in the pac-10, been there,
done that, and won't do it again. I realize the
under looks good, but can't do it. But I want to
pull the trigger on USC so bad I can't stand it. Can
you talk me out of it

I just cant see UCLA scoring over 10-14 points. But, UCLA did a hell of a job last year completely shutting down USC's O. DeWayne Walker, the UCLA D Coor. knows this trojan offense inside and out being a former coach. His plan last year was brilliant - sadly. And, as accurate as Booty is throwing, he can still be rattled, he still has a tendency to get passes batted down and the WR's are still very talented, but inconsistant. I might take UCLA under 14 points for the game. SC might route them, but I think its far from a lock.

unfortunately usc has not beated by a great team or even a team w/a top defense.
oregon beat them because DIXON is a great QB as a senior otherwise it was an even game.
does sc win? probably, but last season with better receivers, they scored 9 points vs. ucla's D!
how can sc backers justify giving so many points to a senior laden defense. both schools have top defenses so spread seems awfully high.
i like the 3 td's & muddy field...
