It was very simple.

I said turnovers will decide the game and USC cannot blow teams out unless they win the turnover battle.

ASU turned the ball over 1 time in 1q. WHAM! USC was up 21-0.

Since then, ASU did not turn the ball over, USC turned it over twice, and both teams had ton of penalties, and ASU played well. Final score? 28-21.

If you make mistakes against USC, you get blown out. PERIOD!

Tough for 18-22 year olds not to make mistakes. But for the most part, Nebraska, WSU, UW, and ASU have been great as a whole in not turning the ball over (multiple turnovers) and forcing USC turnovers. As a result, 3/4 games came down to the wire!

Arizona St. went to CO and won 20-3. CO went to Georgia and should have won. ASU stinks, but Georgia is an elite SEC team. :shrug:

This year ASU could probably finish in the middle of the SEC. SEC is down this year.



Last year ASU would finish at the bottom rung of the SEC
