Collin Cowherd recently did allmost an hour on the
parallels of the current USC program compared to
the Miami Huricane program back in it's hayday.
It was amazing how the demise of the USC team
is a mirror image of what happened to the Canes.
The stats of the W-L, the asst. coaches going to
HC status or better jobs, etc.
When Mike Stoops left OU, the program suffered.
When Norm Chow left USC, you saw the results
today.
No one in the Pac 10 fears USC anymore. That's
what Collin was refering to. No one fears Miami
anymore. Once you lose that swagger, your fair
game. USC may lose 1 or 2 more games now.
Today's game was a benchmark, PC knew that.
USC has a LONG SEASON AHEAD.

interesting kramer ... i thought usc would win today bc of oregon's off. injuries ... but i also said after seeing usc play the uw here, that no way would they go undefeated ... they might have all the talent in the world but at the moment, they look very ordinary ... im guessing scottusc might be on suicide watch

on another point i know they lost but jake locker had a huge game 337 passing 157 running... against a team usc couldnt do squat against at home

coaching, pt1guard, coaching. USC is reeling right
now without the backup coaches that were
always there. You as a coach know what I'm
talkin bout. PC can't do it all by himself, and that's
damn apparent. Same with the Stoops brothers.
Same with the Cane's dynasty. Once you lose
all the parts, the machine breaks down. It's just
a matter of time. Look at FSU and Penn St.
It's all about coaching. You can get all 5 STAR
BLUE CHIPS, but coaching is all that matters.
