And played Michigan and Oregon St out of conf. If they beat Alabama they will have beat 3 top 15 teams (TCU, Bama and Oreg st.). Food for thought anyway. Boy would a modified playoff be fun. Instead we get the fawking International Bowl:mj07: :mj07: :mj07:

If Utah goes on to win this game by 10 or more pts...I would absolutely vote them, if I had a vote, as National Champs.

I wouldn't....but it's time the Moutain West gets the respect they deserve - their champ deserves an automatic bid to the BCS as much (and recently more) than the ACC or Big East champion.
I mean 10 is not a mandatory #. A convincing win is the point.

Really they are getting pushed around here. Take away the punt return and it's a 17 point game. So far no fluke.

this team has quality wins...and they move the ball on this defense pretty damned well...

I knew this team was good. I knew they had the potential to beat Bama, but damn I am impressed w/ this squad tonight.

The only reason they had close games this year is that Brian Johnson played like shit in a few games. When he plays good they are hard to beat. They have 3-4 really good athletes at reciever and are recruiting Texas and the islands well.

Yes and he was offered the BYU job and took the utes position. Guess he figured he could recruit better at Utah. 4-0 in bowls since Urban Legend left and doing a pretty good job. Gets a little too conservative at times but this program is really on the map with a potential second BCS victory.
