Rebounding,defense,balanced scoring,3 pt shooters.Beat them 83-57 a month ago.Give Cal North 10 pts for playing home this time and the Aggies win 83-67.
Line is way off.No time to explain.

Smoo -2 over san Jose St ***
SJ did play the Bows tough in Last game.But Smoo lost to fresno by 1,beat Nev.Already beat them 73-58.Smoo has a good offense and SJ defense is terrible.

thanks guys.Got home way to late.All week has been crazy with daughters game,Winter concert in school,bd of ed meeting and last nite had to go to a "wake" in another town.The village where the wake was one of my schools biggest rivals for over 25 yrs.The guy that owns the pizza store is a good friend of mine.
The wake was from 7-9 so it was about 6.00 pm when I got there.Figured I shoot the breeze with my pizza buddy in town,get a plate of pasta,etc.Well I order and Frank. goes in the back and makes 4 telephone calls.'box is here eating,get you ass down here".
I'm unaware of all of this as I eat my salad.Next thing i know a good friend of mine and coach at my former school walks with his wife.He yells "box,what are the odds us coming here and finding you"You come to town and don't call".I felt so embarrased and said I'm here for K's father.He passed away.Buy Joe says "not even a phone call".Any way frank pulls out another table and we are all sitting.About 5 minuts later 2 other teachers that I taught with for 25 yrs walk in.They pretend not to see me.They go up to the counter like there picking up there order.Look over and say"box wtf are you doing here.Again I weasel out of it with "just stopped by for a slice".Frank pulls up another small table.He tells them why don't you all order...they all do.I'm so stupid I'm thinking its just fate everyones coming in for pizza.Another friend walks in with his wife.Another table comes out.Everyone's odering a meal.Next thing I know its 8.00 pm.I've been there 2 hours and haven't gone to the wake yet.
But while we were eating maybe about 10 people picking up pizza where summoned by my buddies to come over to the table.My friends would say,"Amelio,you know who this is pointing to me." Amelio's looking at me like he never saw me.This is Coach Box who beat your ass all four of your yrs in HS.Amelio then remembered.But so did I.I said "Amelio,you had a great outside shot". He laughed .He's now 38 yrs old.ha
Anyway every person that walked in the pizza store was either a former player I went up against.It was so great to laugh and tells stories of the past.
I had a great unexpected nite. And they all paid for my meal.I went to the funeral home and spent 10 minuts there.
On my way home I had to drive past the Pizza place again.I thought of the many nites playing in that town and many times stopping at Franks with my team on the bus picking up 8 pies for the ride back.I also remembered my record vs that HS was something like 21-0 away.
I came home and posted a few plays.They all won which made the nite even sweeter...No school today...We'll cap a few games tonite

Austin weather

I live in Austin (fairly close to UT campus) and it was our turn last night for some of that nasty weather. Not too cold but plenty of ice. This morning my little Shih Tzu wanted out, so she trots out on the deck to see a white blanket of ice. Puzzled, but undaunted, she runs to the stairs to go down. However the deck and stairs are slippery with ice. She barely makes it down safely, but coming back up is a different story. Now the whinning and crying start. Not about to bust my ass going to rescue her, I coax her up. She makes it, and boy is she happy to get back inside.
Here comes some more sleet. Hope your Little Box stays safe.
Missed your picks last night, but I see they all won. Had Ut. St. and La T. myself, considered playing SMU but couldn't trust which SMU would show.
Give me a heads-up when you're coming here again, and if you have any free time maybe we can meet. Good Luck on your future picks.

Doglover,will talk to my daughter tonite and get on her case about your weather.She kills us with her weather reports to us as I'm out shoveling snow.
I would love to get on her about tornados down there but austin doesn't seem to get to many.
maybe we'll hook up down there.

Just came back from the vets.My boxer "Sasquash" tore her ACL last week.She was operated on Tues. and we just picked her up this morning. Freak'in $ 850.00 later.
It's just my luck I get a dog that tears her ACL.I know Dr J tore his.Bill Walton,Earl Monroe and Sasquash..

lol, it's supposed to snow here tomorrow!

i've been here 30 years and i've never seen snow in February, much less any other month. it's usually in the 60-70's at this time....27 this morning.

we're going crazy down here, we don't know how to deal with this shit!
