aggies were the last play scratched off the card today. hawaii looks good but not great in the 1h. utah state is at least putting up some resistance, even if the score looks lopsided. aggies have had their scoring chances but havent capitalized. june jones is bundled up with a black hawaii zipup coat. conditions arent horrible, but its a long way from the island. playing utah state 2nd half (+9) and a small shot on the 2h moneyline (+355). utah state could trade scores with them in the final two quarters. nothing crazy. but do think utah state is the way to go here.

like the over as well?

honestly not really. by no means am i saying that i like the under. with hawaii, you either play the over or sit out and dont play the total. but it seems like the cooler weather is slowing hawaii dont just a bit. and utah state cant kick FGs, hawaii wont kick FGs, so the 2h total plays more like a 35 instead of 30.5

well utah state made it easy them by turning the ball over. but hawaii is just in a zone right now. still have some questions about this hawaii D because utah state did a lot of good things. but going anti-hawaii right now its bankroll suicide.

gman2,

i havent seen HAW in person this year but in their last 6 games, including today's at end of 3q, they are avg 53 ppg ... what do you think of their team as far as Bowl game, esp. if they play on island, what they are doing is close to amazing lately ... took them today to wisky on a teaser ... had they got Boise St at home I think HAW wouldve beat them

yeah, and liek you said ever playing under is crazy.
I had played the over just readin through your first analysis, turns out didn't need that much from utah state
kinda of reminds me of the other night with the idaho game, idaho had chances to put up points but you see what happens when you don't capitolize vs haw

this is the best hawaii team in awhile. nothing theyre doing is 'flukie' offensively. brennan is a damn stud. hawaii will buzzsaw through remaining wac games. san jose is one of the few wac teams who actually plays defense but they cant keep up with them offensively. id be a little concerned about this defense holding up against oregon state or purdue in a few weeks though. idaho shit all over themselves despite doing some good things on O. utah state is doing the same thing. theres plenty of open space to run against hawaii's D. but if you turn the ball over, youre done. no chance. their offense is too good and you end up chasing points the entire game.

im actually not sure but are they locked into the hawaii bowl? some years, they dont deserve to be playing in a bowl but on fortunate enough to host that bowl.

other years, like now, they are probably better than the bowl theyre going to play in. is there any way for them to get an at-large to a better bowl in the days before new years? id like to see them play on a neutral field because they deserve the chance to legitimize themselves and not have people say the won their bowl because it was basically a home game.
