big mismatch for the final socon game of the regular season, but not much of a betting opportunity. both these teams are locked into their tournament games regardless of tonight's outcome. vmi will play samford friday afternoon; the winner of that game will become cannon fodder for utc's 1st game on saturday. i know it appears inviting to lay the 12- but if anything i'd lean the other way. not much incentive tonight for utc to run up the score, even less for vmi to show any new wrinkle they may have with a possible rematch 5 days away. if you were the coach of either team, you'd feel like a dumbass if you let a key player get injured tonight. i see a lot of action on utc and the over but again, if i was coaching i'd want to slow the pace of this game. just some random thoughts here as i won't have any action on this game. i'll probably put in a wager on syracuse + the points tonight as - 1. i'm not willing to spot that many points to any boeheim team in a conference game and - 2. i just like fading the tarheels whenever i can. :mj07:
