UTSA -10.5 over North Texas *****
Was in the Alamo-dome last year taking UTSA +2 over My Mean Green .Maybe about 10,000 in the stadium. A few weeks before that I saw them play Army who beat them . I had just sat down and on the 1st play UTSA opened up a hole on the Ol and Sincere McCormick ran untouched for a 56 yd touchdown. Don't think I had a chance to even eat a pop corn kernel.. It was all over after that. UTSA won 45-3 and North Texas was blown out of San Antonio . I sat right behind the Roadrunner bench. Harris the qb was tall and thin and very mobile. He had a huge OL and had Franklin a 6'3 wr who had speed and hands. Cephus the other wr had great hands. But they guy who impressed me was the RB 5'8 220 pound Sincere McCormick . Powerful, quick and was leading the nation in rushing. Now I had already seen the Roadrunners score 51 points vs Tex St earlier on the season so I was familiar but their defense vs Tex St was bad. I remember seeing a waterboy dressed up in a UTSA football uniform. Thought it was nice of the coach to dress up a waterboy or team manger ... but nope it was Hunter Dupless their kicker ...anyway NT has won 4 in a row and needs one more win to be bowl eligible Playing at home .senior day there is a lot of motivation on the Mean green side.
But UTSA is one of 3 or 4 undefeated teams in the country at 10-0 .. I already won my prop bet of over 8 wins for the season. Also have another to win Conf USA title.
Nt's one strength is running the ball. Torrey has over 1,100 yds but UTSA defense is 12th in the country stopping the run. NT defense will have trouble containing Harris with his arm or legs.. They cannot stop Sincere and although he has 1,200 yds he might not score on his 1st carry. And UTA's 3 wrs can run after they catch it. UTSA defense is solid and Off Line protects and opens up holes They have 10 offensive players back from last years 45-3 win but have all 11 on defense back.
Although NT's is playing with a little more motivation think ending the season at 12-0 is even more of an incentive . for Roadrunners . UTSA is 12-2 ats on last 14 road games. I have been on the train since the beginning and their last stop is in Denton and see almost of a repeat of last years game I have friends who are all going to the game. I told them make sure your in your seat once the Roadrunners get the ball . Because Sincere could be in the end zone before you know it.
back later with one or two more games.

UTSA -10 over North Texas *****
Line went down a half point in my favor won't make a difference .. I am upsetting about 4 or 5 of my friends up there in Denton I had promised them I was coming to the game . I told them I was at the last game these guys played and UTSA won 49-17 and McCormick scored on a 55 yd td run on the 1st or second play of the game. of the 22 starters that played for UTSA on defense and offense 21 of the 22 kids are back UTSA is 11-0 and although last week they beat UAB on a last second touchdown that was there " scare game" .
Both teams have a lot top play for If NT wins and they have won 5 in a row are bowl eligible. They have one of the top rushing teams in the country . But UTSA has its sights on 12-0 . They are ranked 15th,20 and 22 nd in the 3 college polls , NT is 5-6 and needs this win today. Its a huge game for both teams . UTSA only started playing D-1 football 8 years ago and is 4-4 vs North Texas. The last time the Roadrunners played in Denton 2 years ago they won 45-3 Then last yr roadrunners won 49-17 UTSA next week is playing for the conf championship regardless of todays outcome. So some say maybe they are looking ahead .. no way . In todays paper this outcome could ruin someone seasons NT loses and its season over .. UTSA loses they still have next week and a bowl game somewhere. But UTSA off line will open up holes for sincere and NT defense cannot keep Harris the Roadrunner qb in check his 3 wrs' and Sincere in check. . UTSA defense can stop the No 3 rushing team in the country because they have an experienced defense and NT is to one dimensional.. They only allow 20 pts per game. UTSA is no 1 in rushing defense in Conf and 10th nationally.
NT defense cannot stop Sincere and although this kid hasn't gotten the national exposure at running back he does have 1,215 rushing yards and with UTSA avgs 38 points a game . Last year I think it was opening day UTSA beat Tex St 51-48 in 2 or 3 overtimes but it was the second time I got to see this kid play live. Wow I knew I was watching the best running back in the state of Texas ..

Incarnate Word-2 over Steven F Austin ***
FCS playoffs and I also got to see this years the best qb in the country in Cameron Ward . SFA is really good and I don't follow these playoffs but how in gods name do you stop this kid at qb. A small Catholic school that plays football in the state of Texas. Although those Texas State fans made fun of Incarnate with signs saying " Incarnate Who?" I still see that Incarnate parent saying to me in row 4 as I watched this kid warm up in the Tex st pre-game " you don't know about our school and you don't know our qb."
Sir, I wish I could speak to you now .." yes I do now know your qb Ward and a little about your school The Sisters of Charity run it,its in San Antonio . " I saw someone in LA fitness gym wearing a Incarnate Word sweatshirt. I said something like " you sure do have a good football team " and her response was " we do" My friends here in Austin don't even know about you. But I know those 15,000 tex st fans know who you are and its noy a Prison school .
Know nothing about SFA but Incarnate -2 is a home run. Carmeron Ward will throw for 500 yds and 4 touchdowns . Thats less then his 600 and 6 td's I figure SFA must be pretty good for the line to be only -2
Good luck 2 big plays UTSA 12-0 and Incarnate wins in 1st round of football tournament

wow North Texas destroyed UTSA 's perfect season 45-23.. They rushed for 5 td's and harris the UTSA qb had 6 fumbles. I knew it was raining but both teams had the same weather problems I guess North Texas motivation was just a bit more then the Roadrunners. My bad and terrible capping on my part.. No excuses it was a beat down and North Texas now must wait a bowl invitation .UTSA plays for the Conf USA championship next week . Was texted thru out the game by my buddies at the game. I turned my phone off because of the rightfully smack talk messages I was getting from them. I did finally answered them and surrendered like Lee at Appomattox.. My bad.. its 21-21 Incarnate word vs SFA with 6 minutes left ..damn could be shooting air balls on both teams

Incarnate wins in double over time 35-28 .. Ward stats are 39-54 328 yds 4 touchdowns and 0 interceptions .In OT he throws a 6 yd TD pass. To bad he wasn't playing for UTSA today. Think the two San Antonio campus's are a few miles apart.
