Live in the Green Bay area but far from a diehard GB fan. With that said I still can't understand this line. When line was at -7 I bet it as a big play and now it has dropped. According to local news and papers there are no injuries, etc. Guess betting public is going by bigger name team getting points. Realistically right now there is no comparison, GB should roll here. After getting pounded at UWM and hangover loss at home to Loyola of all teams, they have rededicated and won at home to UIC, at Detroit and home to UWM. Bad loss to Loyola was not that long ago, so they should not be having a letdown here. If I lose I will chalk it up to the posting jinx lol. Good luck.

How is this line only 6????? This makes no sense, I mean they just lost to a junk Cleveland State team by 20 & got drilled again on Saturday by 20 to I think Loyola. Does this not look too good to be true, esp. @ home? Are there an injuries or something? Opinions?

Be careful with this game. In my few years of sports wagering (almost 5 years) I have seen many times where a game was set up like this. It seems too easy, and it is. I took Butler for this reason. I also looked into where all the money is going and its on WGB. At my sportsbook 80% of the action is on WGB yet the line went from WGB -7 to -5.5. Vegas wants everybody on WGB and I dont know why, but they do.

I played Butler +5.5 $250. Also included them in my 3 team 7 point teaser.

Just a couple of thoughts. I think the line is off because for the last couple of years Butler has always given more than they should have-they went from an unknown to a media darling. The line has been just as bad the last couple of games in my opinion. As much as you have to respect the line and question why the line is so low, mistakes are made. For myself, I believe if you try to determine if a line looks favorable or if it looks too good to bet, you have lost already. You are admitting before you even bet that the linemaker knows more than you do, which is not always the case. I see these teams more often than anyone who makes the line. Understand I am talking about my own beliefs in general, not about anything anybody said about this particular game. Obviously any game can lose at any time. Good luck guys.
