I guess the schedule VT played was an indicator of just how good they are NOT.

This is not the 3rd best team in the country.

If they don't pull this game out, Miami will roll 'em next week and VT probably won't even get a BC bowl bid.

you guys have transient memories.

give credit where credits due.

tech has been pounding the sh1t outta teams lately. wvirginia deserves a lot of credit.

hell, miami got beat to the punch and shoulda lost outright as a 4 TD favorite to this team

after the game, everyone was saying "miami's not a top 5 team"

now all the sudden vtech is struggling and tech isnt a #3 team.

doesnt make sense.

give wvirginia credit. they play the big boys tough.

both tech and miami are as good as advertised.

west virginia simply met the challenge.

Agree w/ you gman2 - VT simply has been outplayed today...worst game I have capped all year - but that happens - you can't win 'em all...just didn't see this coming - as I gather a lot of people didn't...really thought they would come out in the 2nd half & get back to their game - but they didn't - now VT is losing control & these penalties are out of frustration - but nonetheless killing their chances of winning this game...just can't believe how flat this offense is - and all the mistakes they have made...I am very disappointed w/ how VT played tonight - but I wouldn't write this team off - if anything else it might be a wakeup call...I really don't think anyone else saw this coming tonight - even those on West Virginia have to be surprised they are leading by 21 right now...

Sorry guys, I can't agree, you don't see great teams quit like this. This team has skated by so far this year and this game has shown their true colors.

It isn't like this hasn't happened to VT before:eek:

the difference between miami and vt, is that miami actually fought back hard enough to win the game straight up...VT IS GOIND DOWN ST8 UP!

still lots of time to see what kind of heart vtech has in terms of their BCS future.

michigan was left for dead down 28-7 going into the 4th vs minnesota.

just something to keep in mind.

Right you are Gman2.
Kellen Winslow's finger tip catch on 4th and long kept Miami's drive alive that ended with a game winning fieldgoal. That game was at Miami, and Miami was lucky to come out of there with the "W". So this game is no real shocker. The real shocker to me is how my Terps kicked their arses the way they did earlier in the season. WVU is playing some inspired football now.

You make my point Gman, this is no Mich type team.

You didn't see Mich taking cheap shot penalities and quitting on their coaches.

This team was way overrated and it will be proven even more in the next few weeks.

They only scored because of a bad officials call, they have been beaten as bad as I've seen in a long time and they responded to the challenge like a bunch of over rated losers.
