Alabama +5 bought hook

2-1 on posted picks

Alabama is starting to gel together just in time for a little run heading toward the tourney. They have won 3 straight behind great leadership from sophomore Ronald Steele. Down low, they will create match up problems with Davidson and Hendrix. Hendrix is starting to assert himself as a big time asset with that big body of his. They are getting great minutes off the bench with Alonzo Gee and Jean Felix. Look for them to make the most of this ESPN game tonight as there recent ones have not been good this year losing at temple, at oklahoma, notre dame, and memphis. This is their first oppurtunity to shine and show their progression since losing star Chuck Davis. Good luck with whatever you play and might add more later.

I agree with the pick, and will most likely play it also.... however - I found that 76% of the public is on Bama, but the line is moving in their favor (from +4.5 to +5.0). Does that seem odd to anyone else? :com:

Where are you seeing that %?

At ********* it 2/14/06 Alabama +5.5 335 50.68% South Carolina -5.5 326 49.32% Detail

Sports Insights has 63% on Bama.

I had it capped at 6 just because South Carolina coming off big win against Florida last week and Alabama never gets respect in basketball on the road because they are always talented but dont play as a team in the past. This year they are playing better on the road. Alot of people tend to forget this was a top 15 team at the beginning of the year and lost their swagger but are getting it back at the right time.

Texas -14 first half

Baylor does not have the athletes to keep up as the Longhorns should never be in doubt from start to finish. I expect the lead to be from 17-22 at the half.
