valdes is listed at +165 in my book overnight line. he has been really tex's bright spot in the rotation. it seems with him on the mound lately they don't lose...and +165 is a hell of a price with this trend in full swing.......
then u have the atl braves who just got the sh^t beat out of them in ny.
was it that damn stike zone sh^t that got in their heads.....or are our mighty atl braves in the midst of a slide???
ortiz is 2-1 last three starts but it seems he has some home cookin as his era is 3.0 at home.......valdes on the other hand seems shaky on the rd allowing runs......BUT it seems his team plays for him as they OUTSCORE the opp. valdes is 3-1 on the rd this yr and his team is +3.1 units compared to ortiz's +1.3 units at home.
also to note tex has won game one of the last four series while the braves have went 1-3 with the win this past weekend maddux vs glavine. they have lost the previous three to that....
